Specialty Mass & Heat Transfer
NOVELAIRE TECHNOLOGIES’ patented manufacturing technology allows us to lock a specialty adsorbent or catalyst into a suitable media to perform efficient mass transfer in a fixed or rotating core at low pressure drop and laminar flow.
NOVELAIRE has experience with a variety of adsorbents and catalysts imbedded into media designed for high or low temperature applications and for many different gaseous environments.
Mass or/and heat transfer performed at laminar flow in the flutes of a fixed or rotating core provides an excellent means of carrying out a chemical reaction with a low pressure drop. NovelAire Technologies' engineers and scientists have many years of experience of catalysts and adsorbents in various physical or chemical processes. We will be pleased to offer our services and expertise to assist to your product development. 
The core can generally be made to be very rugged and not susceptible to inadvertent breakage.
The adsorbent or catalyst will not attrite from the media. The process used to manufacture the core locks the particles to the media. It is not a surface coating.
Products can be made in sizes from a few centimeters to several meters in diameter, and an option of several flute geometries.
