Replacement or Repair Service
In addition to providing standard sized rotors and other
products, NovelAire will custom manufacture rotors to match
most existing cassettes and provide the installation
supervision and labor necessary to provide a complete rotor
repair or replacement turnkey project.
Typically, damaged or worn out energy recovery rotors are
buried within the air-handling unit where access is limited.
It may be impractical to replace the entire cassette and the
only solution is to replace the rotor in place while using
the existing cassette structure.
NovelAire Technologies will custom manufacture a segmented
rotor to the required dimensions, build the complete rotor
in its shop to ensure fit, break the rotor down and crate it
for shipment, and provide the supervision and labor to
rebuild the rotor in place.
A typical job starts with the installation of a hub, shaft
and bearing assembly onto the existing frame support
structure. Spokes are then attached to the hub and the media
segments are installed and locked into the place. A
sectioned outer band is attached to the spokes to tie the
media sections and the entire structure together. If
required, seals are replaced, and the drive train is
reconditioned or replaced.

necessary to obtain detailed measurements.
- Custom manufacture of rotor- the rotor is manufactured to
specification and fully assembled in NOVELAIRE’s plant to
ensure proper fit.
- Shipment to job
site- the rotor is broken down into segments and crated
for shipment to the site.
- Installation-
NOVELAIRE’s service technicians will rebuild the rotor
in place and replace or recondition the seals and/or
drive train if required.
- Warranty- Replace
damaged or worn out rotors with NOVELAIRE state of the
art rotor technology.
